The Call For Everything is now closed!

Want to join in on the fun by contributing to the Ham Radio Village at DEF CON 31? Like the previous year, our Call For Everything (CFE) was split into three versions:

• Call for Papers (CFP)
• Call for Staff (CFS)
• Call for Volunteer Examiners (CFVEs)

Call for Papers (CFP)

We were looking for presentations, demonstrations, experiments, discussions, and anything else related to amateur radio to share with the world at DEF CON 31! Even if you think your topic is "weird", someone at DEF CON will take interest in it.

Call for Staff (CFS)

Village staff help people navigate the Ham Radio Village, answer questions about the hobby, run demonstration tables, help with setup/teardown, and handle the logistics that get amateur radio out to the masses of DEF CON.

Call for Volunteer Examiners (CFVEs)

Volunteer Examiners (VEs) are the backbone of the HRV and extend the tradition of free amateur radio license testing at DEF CON. The previous year we administered 381 exams with the help of VEs.
